Kagome Full Youkaiby *Foayasha

Clan of the Golden Dog: Character portrait.

For my own inspiration, and tangible reference, I drew a set of portraits for the fic I am writing. This illustration depicts the alter ego I have given Kagome, to represent her inner youaki, named Youkai (creative, inorite).

For the basic model I used a Kaname Chidori pic, that any FMP fans would probably recognize.

She looks a little short to me, but other than that, I am happy with the turn out.

Quick snippet from my soon to be published fanfic:

When Kagome raised her eyes she was looking at herself, standing perfectly perched on a wooden post on the bridge, peering back at her. Well, it wasn’t exactly herself, she was a slightly taller, and her eyes were now a fiery red, on her forehead was a rose sunburst. This version of herself looked a bit more feral, with her hair wild, and blowing in an imaginary breeze. Her longer fangs poked out of her smirking lips, and she noticed that her claws were a bit more fierce than her own. “Take a picture, it will last longer,” said her cocky counterpart.

EDIT: I updated the designs on the haori. I'll probably get around to doing this for all of the images, but it is kind of time consuming.
